■FESTIVAL
Numata is an exciting town, especially in summer.
They have Youtaka-Andon-Matsuri in the fourth Saturday
and Sunday of August.
It is famous festival.
"Andon" means lantern in Japanese.
But "Youtaka-Andon"is very large.
It is seven meters high,
eleven meters long,
five ton in weight.
And it is very beautyful.
Basic colors are red and yellow.
Moreever, it is handmade by townspeople.

Main time of that festival, too large Andns will make hard crash !
That hard crash make big sounds, and our staffs must change broken parts.
It is a very interesting time!
