Greenpeace International (Amsterdam in Netherlands)
has a branch in 27 nations and about 1,000
paid devotion personnel belong. In order
to protest the nuclear test in the offing
of Alaska in the United States against the
cause of establishment in 1971, 12 Canadians
took out the ship. This action becomes the
origin of a Greenpeace. In order to begin
full-scale activity in Japan later, Greenpeace
Japan was founded in 1989. Various activities
are performed cooperating with Greenpeace
International, other branches, etc., in order
to stop environmental destruction of an earth
