"TAKI-san" is Who ?
It is very important for outdoor-sports to
be not the effect of "won or lost"
but how we can be familiar with " nature".
This may be one step to " a big master
of outdoor-sports"
I'll introduce you one of such great masters.

The name is "TAKI SAN". His real
name is Masamichi Takahashi.
He is a surfer , a snowboarder and also a
skateboarder.About each of them he is an
expert.
He has a big shop in Hamamatsu ,Japan . He
set up his shop on 1972.
Surfboards , Snowboards and Skateboards ,
his shop deals mainly.
"I love floating in the sea, even if
on the flat wave. It gives the best feeling
of relaxation to me."
He always says so.
He instructed 30,000 people!
Great surfer TAKI is very busy. He is a boss
of Taki sports project co. and also a head-master
of Japan surfin school and a head manager
about Safety of Japan SnowBoard Association.
He has a varius kinds of instructing schools,
for example surfing school, snowboarding
school and so on. His motto is "safety"
.
Recently he instructed or talked many professors
of the universities all over the country
about how to do snowboarding in safety. He
has his own theory for these sports. He always
says "Safety is most important".
Every day he is extremely busy. I wonder
if he will be able to have a time to enjoy
surfing.
But he says "Every week I go surfing
around Maisaka or Arai beach.""They
are very near here."
"I feel Nature seems to be exremely
great when I'm usually surfing."
"What shall I say ? Ummmm the wave I
ride on is only one in the world. When I
can ride on that wave in that time and at
that place, I feel completely saticefied.
I think we shouldn't devide won into lost
on the wave. It is most important for us
to familialize with nature.
But When I was young , I had ever tried to
be keen for Winning.(laughing)"
"Recently I feel well only floating
on the wave. I don't have to catch the swell.
I can really get relaxation by that way."
His sayings seems to be 'unpowerfull'.
The true great surfer can only say these
words, I think.
