The Entwined Trees ( Renri no Eda ) is a
famous expression from a Chinese classical
love poem meaning a "pledged love".These
lovely flowers have the same name "renri-so".
I'm reminded of my love immediately when
I see them, especially in a dewy field.
I've recently started writing a poem about
Mimi again because, I found out, it's much
easier to do so than trying to forget her
completely. I know it's doubtlessly futile
to mull
over her day after day but if I'm still finding
myself under the influence of Erato, it's
so much the
better. ( September 1, 2005 )
